FOURTH DAY SUNDAY ISTANBUL, Turkey (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) A full day at leisure to enjoy this fabled city. Perhaps take an excursion to see the highlights of Istanbul. Later, why not be entertained with some Turkish belly-dancing before we cruise to the playground of the rich and famous, the beautiful island of Mykonos, arriving in the late afternoon on board. Overnight on board. FIFTH DAY MONDAY IZMIR (Ephesus), Turkey (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) Relax on board and enjoy the comforts offered by the ship's facilities. At noon we arrive at Izmir, Turkey. On this site, you need a stop to admire the ancient Ephesus its majesty. Overnight on board. SIXTH DAY TUESDAY PATMOS - MYKONOS, Greece (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) An early morning arrival at Patmos with time for an excursion to the Fortress-Monastery. Then we set sail for Mykonos arrive mid-afternoon in to spend a few relaxing hours. Overnight on board.
SEVENTH DAY WEDNESDAY RHODES (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) An early morning arrival at Rhodes. There's time here to take an optional shore excursion to explore the old town and Lindos. Overnight on board.
EIGHTH DAY THURSDAY HERAKLION, Crete- SANTORINI, Greece (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) Heraklion, the capital of Crete. At leisure or take an optional tour to visit the fantastic ruins of the Palace of Knossos. The elaborate palace is believed to be the mythical Labyrinth of King Minos (Minotaur legend) and the seat of the Minoan Civilization. The amazing island of Santorini (formed by the eruption of the volcano 1600 BC). The sight is the most breathtaking of all Greek Islands and perhaps of the world. Enjoy the last night on board live entertainment, disco or, casino etc. Overnight on board.
NINTH DAY FRIDAY ATHENS CRUISE ARRIVAL - ATHENS SIGHTSEEING (Breakfast) Breakfast on board. Disembark. Meet at the Athens Port of Piraeus and transfer to the tour terminal for your Half Day morning tour. Our expert guides will take you to see the Panathenaic Stadium where the first Olympic Games of modern times were held in 1896 (short stop). Continue and pass by the Presidential residence (ex Royal Palace) guarded by the Euzones in their colorful uniform, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, the Hadrian's Arch, the Parliament and the memorial to the Unknown Soldier, the Academy, the University, the National Library, the Constitution Square (Syntagma). On the Acropolis visit the Architectural Masterpieces of the Golden Age of Athens. The Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion and finally "the harmony between material and spirit", the monument that "puts order in the mind", the Parthenon. Continue and visit the New Acropolis Museum the place where at last the statues found their home and admire the wonders of the classical era, and the replica of Parthenon.(Mondays closed).
