FIRST DAY SATURDAY ATHENS ARRIVAL: Meet at Athens Airport and transfer to hotel. Remainder of day at leisure. Athens is an amazing city to discover on your own with its numerous museums, archaeological sites, parks, hills and the shopping areas of Kolonaki, Hermou, Voukourestiou street, Monastiraki and Plaka. SECOND DAY SUNDAY ATHENS – MYKONOS (Breakfast) After breakfast, transfer to the Athens Port of Piraeus and take the Ferry boat (tickets not including) to the island of Mykonos. Meet at the port of Mykonos upon arrival and transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Mykonos Hotel.
THIRD DAY MONDAY MYKONOS - EMBARKATION 4 DAYS AEGEAN JEWELS SEA CRUISE (Breakfast, Dinner) Breakfast in the hotel. At leisure on this Jet Set Cycladic Island renowned for its striking windmills. FOURTH DAY TUESDAY KUSADASI (Ephesus), Turkey - PATMOS, Greece (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) Kusadasi at leisure or take an optional tour to visit the Greek and Roman site of Ephesus, the best preserved ancient city in Asia Minor and the House of Virgin Mary. Patmos, the Holy island where St. John wrote The Revelation, known as Jerusalem of the Aegean Sea. Take the optional tour to visit the Monastery and Cave of the Apocalypse by St. John. Overnight on board.
FIFTH DAY WEDNESDAY RHODES (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) Rhodes, known the island of the Sun. Full day at leisure to explore the city of Rhodes or take any of the optional tours to visit the Acropolis of Lindos or the Palace of the Knights. In the evening, enjoy the on board entertainment. Overnight on board.
SIXTH DAY THURSDAY HERAKLION, Crete – SANTORINI - DISEMBARKATION (Breakfast, Lunch) Heraklion, the capital of Crete. At leisure or take an optional tour to visit the fantastic ruins of the Palace of Knossos. The elaborate palace is believed to be the mythical Labyrinth of King Minos (Minotaur legend) and the seat of the Minoan Civilization. The amazing island of Santorini (formed by the eruption of the volcano 1600 BC). The sight is the most breathtaking of all Greek Islands and perhaps of the world. Disembark. Take the cruise tender to the port. Meet on arrival and transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Santorini hotel.
SEVENTH DAY FRIDAY SANTORINI (Breakfast) Breakfast in the hotel. Full day at own leisure to explore and enjoy all that the island has to offer. History and nature combine to make Santorini one of the most unforgettable places in the world. Overnight in Santorini hotel.
EIGHTH DAY SATURDAY SANTORINI - ATHENS (Breakfast) Breakfast in the hotel. Transfer at the given time to the Airport or Port for your trip back to Athens. (Tickets not included). Meet upon arrival in Athens and transfer to Athens hotel. At own leisure. Overnight in Athens Hotel.
NINTH DAY SUNDAY ATHENS SIGHTSEEING (Breakfast) After breakfast, pickup from the hotel for your Half Day morning tour. Our expert guides will take you to see the Panathenaic Stadium where the first Olympic Games of modern times were held in 1896 (short stop). Continue and pass by the Presidential residence (ex Royal Palace) guarded by the Euzones in their colorful uniform, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, the Hadrian's Arch, the Parliament and the memorial to the Unknown Soldier, the Academy, the University, the National Library, the Constitution Square (Syntagma). On the Acropolis visit the Architectural Masterpieces of the Golden Age of Athens. The Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion and finally "the harmony between material and spirit", the monument that "puts order in the mind", the Parthenon. Continue and visit the New Acropolis Museum the place where at last the statues found their home and admire the wonders of the classical era, and the replica of Parthenon.(Mondays closed).
