FIRST DAY

Leave for Delphi via Thebes connected with the tragedy of King Oedipus ( Killed his father married his mother and had four children), Levadia and the picturesque village of Arachova, arrive in Delphi and visit the Archaeological Site On the slopes of Mount Parnassus, in a landscape of unparalleled beauty and majesty, where lie the ruins of the Sanctuary of Apollo Pythios. After the visit depart for Kalambaka  Meteora, passing through picturesque villages and towns of Central Greece. Dinner, Overnight in Kalambaka.

SECOND DAY

Breakfast in the hotel, visit Meteora and enjoy a unique and most impressive scenery with ageless Monasteries, containing priceless historical and religious treasures, standing between earth and sky atop huge rocks (The remains of the battle of Titans) . Return to Athens via Trikala, Lamia, Thermopylae , short stop to see across the road the Leonida’s Monument, the king of Spartans  (from the film 300), Arrive in Athens early in the evening.

N.B. Visit to the Museum in Delphi is not included. Please note that for the visit to the Monastery are required skirts for the ladies and ling trousers for the gentlemen. Clients staying at the coast will depart for their hotels, from G.O. TOURS terminal, around 19.30 hrs.
